Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Sector 27, won the interschool kho-kho tournament for boys U-19 category. They recorded a one-point win over Sri Guuru Gobind Singh Senior Secondary School, Sector 35.

GMSSS, Sector 45, claimed third position by logging an identical one-point win over MDAV School, Sector 22. GMSSS, Sector 42, won the boys’ U-17 final by logging a four-point win over GMSSS, Sector 8. Government Model High School (GMHS), Sector 32, defeated GMSSS, Sector 28, by 9 points to win the third position. Meanwhile, in the boys’ U-14 matches, GMHS, Sector 42, defeated GMSSS, Sector 8, by 18 points and MDAV School ousted SGGGS, Sector 35, by 13 points. GMHS, Sector 7, outplayed St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, by nine points and GMSSS, Kaimbala, outplayed Tender Heart School, Sector 33, by 13 points.

In the boys U-19 chess event, Bhavan Vidalaya, Sector 27, logged a 3-1 win over Gurukul Global School, Mani Majra. St John’s High School, Sector 26, defeated GMSSS, Sector 16, by 3-1, and KBDAV School, Sector 7, also posted an identical 3-1 win over DAV School, Sector 15, by 3-1. Delhi Public School, Sector 40, defeated SGGS, Sector 35, by a margin of 2 points.

DAV lads log win

In the boys’ U-19 cricket tournament, DAV School, Sector 8, defeated Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36, by three wickets. Batting first, the Sector 36 team posted 88 runs with the help of Hiren (22) and Unnat (22). Parth claimed four wickets for the bowling side and Rupesh picked two.

In reply, the Sector 8 team logged win as Akul Bhanot scored 37 off 18 balls, and Rupesh added 20 off 23 balls. Rohan picked two and Saksham grabbed one for the bowling side.

In the boys’ U-17 match, Rithwick Sood scored 40 off 26 balls to help Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26, defeat DAV Public School by 15 runs. The Sector 26 team scored 83 as Sood (40) lead the charge, followed by Ranveer Ahuja (8). Gokul claimed four wickets, while Rohit and Prince picked one each.

In reply, the Sector 8 team posted 68/3 as Shivam (23) and Gokul (12) remained the main scorers. Sood, Kanish Singla and Ranveer picked one wicket each for the bowling side.
