Dasehra celebrations

Chandigarh: Class I students of KB DAV Senior Secondary Public School conducted a special assembly to celebrate Dasehra. Students presented a well-crafted skit to highlight the significance of the festival, and recited a poem, ‘Yahi kehta hai Dasehre ka tyohaar’. The young learners also showcased their skills through a dance performance on a religious song. A brief yet captivating ‘Ramlila’ was staged, depicting the victory of Lord Ram’s victory over Ravan. Principal Pooja Prakash appreciated the efforts made by the teachers and students.

Projects selected for Hackathon

Panchkula: Three innovative projects made by students of DC Model School were selected for the ATL Hackathon event, ‘3DPCOE’ (Digital Design and 3D Printing), organised by AMTRON. A team represented their projects at the grand finale in Guwahati, Assam. The students’ innovative ideas in digital design and 3D printing garnered much admiration, and they were felicitated with cash prizes and certificates.

Cleanliness campaign

Chandigarh: Students of St Joseph Senior Secondary School, Sector 44D, participated in the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign held at Rani Lakshmi Bai Mahila Bhawan, Sector 38. The school was honoured with the prestigious ‘Swachh School Award’, highlighting the school’s remarkable efforts in maintaining hygiene and cleanliness within and outside the institution. A major highlight of the event was the school’s innovative exhibition at the Rose Garden underpass. The school's theatrical group captivated the audience with a vibrant ‘Nukkad natak’, focused on cleanliness and the role of community in maintaining hygiene.
