The three-day Vivek High Fiesta 2024 (VHF’24) started at Vivek High School, Sector 38. The opening day started with a dynamic Science Fest and History Fest as Renu Puri, principal, declared the fest open. The event featured an array of interactive science activities. Students from Classes V to XII of 20 schools of Chandigarh, Punjab and Himachal are participating in the fiesta.

Gurukul World School, MOHALI
In a captivating observance of International Tiger’s Day, class VIII students took the spotlight during an assembly conducted at shedding light on the challenges faced by tigers and the imperative need for their preservation. Through a dynamic blend of informative presentations, soulful musical and dance performances and engaging activities, students passionately unveiled the critical role of tigers in sustaining our ecosystem, igniting a fervour for wildlife conservation.

St Joseph’s School, Chandigarh
St Joseph’s Sr Sec School, Sector 44 D, Chandigarh, celebrated the fourth anniversary of the National Education Policy, 2020, with a special event titled ‘Skilling and Digital Initiatives Day’ held during the Shiksha Saptah. The occasion was graced by Rajiv, Under Secretary, Centre of Excellence (COE), Chandigarh. Ravjot Singh, an academician, and Chetan Bansal, principal of Shemrock World School, Zirakpur, led a session on the use of AI in education.

HANSRAJ PUBLIC SCHOOL, PANCHKULA
Hansraj Public School recently hosted a highly successful sports meet, held under the aegis of DAV College Managing Committee (DAVCMC), New Delhi, and the guidance of Dr Punam Suri, president, DAVCMC. The three-day event brought together students of 20 schools from Panchkula, Ambala, and Yamunanagar, competing in an impressive 30 events.
