The school organised ‘Vibrant Exuberanza 2024’ for the students of Primary Block II. Palika Arora, Director, Social Welfare Department, and Nirmal Sharma, DEO (1), UT Education Department, awarded the winners. Various events, including Bharatam Keralam Bharatnatyam, Mohiniyattam, and Kathakali, were presented by the students.
Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula
A seven-day National Service Scheme (NSS) camp commenced at the school. The inauguration was marked by vibrant cultural presentations by students, highlighting their artistic talents and celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage. Addressing the gathering, Principal Gulshan Kaur formally declared the camp open.
Shishu Niketan School, Mohali
An inter-section mathematics quiz ‘Who Will Be The Maths Wizard?’ was organised for the students of classes VI to IX. A total of four rounds, including rapid fire, visual, grid lock, and insights to NCERT, were conducted during the quiz. Principal Harjeet Kaur awarded the winners.
AKSIPS-45 Smart School, Chandigarh
The school recently organised exciting excursions to Kurukshetra and Maple Jungle for its students. Children had the opportunity to explore museums, historical sites, nature reserves, and science centres. Some adventurous activities included zip line, rock climbing, trampoline, commando camp, and bridge climbing.
Shishu Niketan-66, Chandigarh
A POSCO Act and Safety Rule workshop was held at the school by Dr Kirandeep Kaur and AIMS Medical college interns, Dr Apoorva and Dr Maheshwaran. Children were sensitised with the Protection of Children From Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act. Students were also explained the four-step safety rule.
Dev Samaj Sr Sec School, Chd
The students of the school participated in a walk organised to create awareness about saving and taking care of animals. This walk was held to mark ‘Pashu Jagat Diwas’, or ‘Animal Universe Day’. Around 200 students took part in the rally to show their concern for animals. The idea was to sensitise people so that animals are not harmed by humans.
PML SD Public School, Chandigarh
The students of the primary wing, ‘PETALS’, of the school participated in the sports day celebrations. The students displayed a wide array of energetic and sports events. They mesmerised the audience with their energetic performances. Principal Monica Sharma awarded the students with medals and certificates.
