R Rudra International School, Aerocity, Mohali, organised its ‘First Annual Prize Distribution-2024 and Cultural Eve’ amid great zest, enthusiasm and euphoria on the school premises. T. Benith, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Mohali, and Puja Kasana, wife of Atul Kasana, Sessions Judge, Mohali, graced the occasion as chief guests. Thought-provoking plays and skits like ‘Kaalchakra’, ‘Toa’ and ‘The Peace Act’ gave a remarkable message to society. The event also featured a medley and dance performances by pre-primary students, which were highly appreciated with thunderous applause.

Doon International School, Mohali, celebrated its Annual Day, ‘Vivitsa’, with vibrancy and enthusiasm, marking ‘20 Years of Excellence’. A PowerPoint Presentation, highlighting the school’s achievements was presented by principal Ira Bogra. A play of the Medieval period ‘King Arthur and the Witch’ captivated the audience. The enthralled gathering was then treated to another theatrical performance, a historical presentation titled ‘Aadi se Anant tak’. In her address chairperson MK Mann highlighted the nostalgic moments of the school’s journey. A vote of thanks was proposed by Director Charanjeet Singh Mann.

The two-day programme was incredibly put up with performances on Sufi Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Mor-Nritya and fusion. Principal Dr Ivorine Castella congratulated the students for the grand success of the mega annual show.
