The school celebrated its annual prize distribution function. The event was graced by Amardeep Singh Rai, IPS, Additional Director General of Police, as the chief guest and Chairman Dr Rajesh Rudhra. The function began with a shabad recital and was followed by a vandana. The tiny-tots enthralled the audience with their dance, while the Punjabi skit ‘Toa’ received appreciation for its message of responsibility towards society. Dr Rudhra announced the school’s upcoming affiliation with the Cambridge Board, UK. The chief guest honoured the students who had excelled in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. The event concluded with Bhangra and Luddi preformances.

Carmel Convent School-9, Chd

The school cabinet, students of Class IX and X, along with the NCC, NSS, and BSG cadets of the school, took part in a march-past during the sports day celebration. The students of Class VI displayed their dance prowess through aerobic moves and Zumba in ‘The Euphoric Fusion’. Sportspersons who had excelled in different national and international events from the school were also honoured. Chief guest Prerna Puri, Secretary Education, remembered the time she spent at the school and advised the students to inculcate all the values being taught to them.

PM Shri GGMSSS-18, Chandigarh

An alumni meet was organised by the school, and around 100 guests were invited. Sunita Puri, chief commissioner (retired), Income Tax, was the chief guest at the event. The students presented a brief cultural programme. The event saw an enthusiastic turnout of alumni from various fields coming together and reconnecting.

Bhavan Vidyalaya, New CHD

The school commemorated the Shaheedi Diwas of Guru Tegh Bahadur with a special assembly, organised by the students of Class VII. The programme began with a rendition of prayers and was followed by a meaningful thought.

Saint Soldiers, Mohali

The students of classes VIII and V presented a theatrical grandeur—Timeless Tales—with classics such as The Necklace by the famous French author Guy de Maupassant and Kabuliwala by Noble laureate Rabindranath Tagore. The captivating performances of lead actors Matilde, Rehmat, and Mini left the audience spellbound.
