Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain lent patient hearing to the locals attending the camp and spent two hours with them. The Deputy Commissioner while visiting each desk set up by the departments, directed them to note every problem of the people and apprise them of the welfare schemes run by the government.

Taking serious notice of the absence of the senior officers of some departments, she directed all the officials to be present in the camps to be held in future. The DC said since the camps are among the flagship programmes of the Punjab Government, no dereliction would be tolerated.

The Deputy Commissioner while listening to the problems of the attendees instructed the concerned departments to give the action taken report within a stipulated time.
