Puri gets charge of Education Secretary

Upon joining the UT Administration, IAS officer Prerna Puri has been assigned the charge of Secretary, Education. She has also been given the charge of Secretary, Engineering, Food Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Public Relations, Printing and Stationery, Sports and Cooperation.

Meanwhile, Home Secretary Mandip Singh Brar has been given the charge of Secretary, Culture, relieving Hari Kallikkat of the charge. Kallikkat has been given the charge of Excise and Taxation Commissioner and that of Secretary, Agriculture and Marketing Board.

Akhil Kumar and Anit Kumar, both Dadra and Nagar Haveli Civil Services (DANICS) officers, got Registrar, Cooperative Societies; and Secretary, State Transport Authority, respectively. Saurabh Kumar Arora has been give the charge of Joint Secretary, House Allotment Committee.
