Punjab’s initiatives to improve education a success: Minister
Punjab Minister for Social Security, Woman and Child Welfare, Dr Baljit Kaur termed today’s Mega PTM (Parent-Teacher Meet) drive an appreciative move of the Bhagwant Mann Government.
Attending the event at Government Girls Senior Secondary Smart School, Sohana, in Mohali, Dr Baljit Kaur said the sole agenda of the government was to strengthen the education and health infrastructure in Punjab.
After meeting meritorious students and parents of the students studying there, the minister said from the endorsements given by the students, alumni and parents, it was apparent that the education system had seen major improvements in Punjab during the present regime.
Dhaliwal participates in PTM in Mohali
Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal participated in the 3rd Mega PTM held at School of Eminence 3B-1, Mohali, today.
He said there had been 100 per cent participation of parents of pre-primary to Class XII students studying in government schools in the PTM.
Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian participated at the Mega PTM organised at S. Baldev Singh Government Senior Secondary School at Majatri in Mohali. Khudian also took a tour of the school building and inspected the school’s infrastructure and cleanliness.
Meanwhile, Principal Secretary, Employment Generation, Jaspreet Talwar along with Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain visited School of Eminence, Phase 11 and Govt High School, Mauli Baidwan to take the stock of Mega PTM drive.
