Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria revisited the Government Rehabilitation Institute for Intellectual Disabilities (GRIID), Sector 31, within 48 hours of his last visit.

Accompanied by Anil K Monga, known as the Perfume King of New York City and CEO of DBCT-Ludhiana, the Governor appreciated the GRIID’s efforts in providing high-quality education and support to students with special needs.

During their visit, the Governor and Monga were briefed on various facilities offered by GRIID. Later, they enjoyed a special performance by the children of GRIID and then interacted with students.

Monga assured his assistance in marketing GRIID’s sanitary napkins for distribution in slum areas and sourcing masalas for his projects on food distribution. Additionally, it was decided that GRIID would submit a project proposal to Monga, detailing their plans for potential collaborations in the future.

Visits Sec 7 Sports Complex

The UT Administrator and Punjab Governor, Gulab Chand Kataria, visited the Sector 7 Sports Complex today. During the visit, Kataria visited gymnastics hall, where he observed ongoing training sessions and interacted with young gymnasts and their coaches, followed by a visit to the badminton hall. Following this, he also visited the athletics synthetic track.

The Governor visited the badminton court, where he watched players in action and engaged in conversations with both players and their coaches, gaining insight into their experiences and aspirations. His tour further extended to the volleyball court, where he interacted with the sports enthusiasts, encouraging them to excel in their respective disciplines.
