Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria today inaugurated the four-day Ins/Out exhibition of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI).

Kataria said that the increasing pollution was becoming a big challenge for the whole country. To deal with it, everyone would have to make efforts. He said it was the responsibility of all to protect the environment. “Nature and construction should be linked together. We should take care of the environment and natural resources while constructing the buildings,” he said.

The Administrator said in the rapidly growing urbanisation, the importance of architecture was increasing, but environmental protection was lagging behind.
