Police, excise officials seize illegal liquor from Sector 9 club
Officials of Panchkula police and Excise Department have recovered illicit liquor, for sale in Chandigarh only, from a club in Sector 9 in the city. Officials of the two departments conducted a joint raid at Play and Pause Club, which was found serving illegal liquor in addition to being run illegally.

He said they were informed that the owners were running the club and serving liquor without a license. "We found that liquor made for sale in Chandigarh only was being served to customers when we went to the spot and carried out a raid," Gurpal said.
The police officials recovered two bottles of Red Label and 12 of Thunderbolt for sale in Chandigarh, 5 bottles of Kingfisher for sale in Haryana, 6 bottles of Corona Extra, and an open bottle of Magic Moments from the spot.
