Dera Bassi, December 11

Residents of Adarsh Nagar here are without drinking water for the past two days following damage to a water supply pipeline passing through the colony. The problem began when workers engaged by the authorities concerned were repairing a sewer pipeline in the area and unintentionally broke the water pipeline. Following this, the water supply to the area was affected.

“The authorities must carry out a survey before laying any pipeline so that necessary services are not affected,” said a resident.
