The Vice-Chairperson of the Haryana Women Commission, Sonia Agarwal, conducted a surprise inspection of Civil Hospital, Sector 6, on Tuesday and enquired about the health of patients.

Agarwal visited the Gynaecology Ward, Labor Room, General Ward and OPD besides other wards and interacted with the patients. She also took stock of health services being provided to the patients.

“I collected information about health services and patients from doctors on duty and did not find any deficiency,” she added.

Agarwal said, “Committees against harassment have been formed in various departments. Strict action will be taken against those found harassing female staff.”
