Panchkula: Surprise inspection held at Police Lines
Police Commissioner Rakesh Kumar Arya conducted a surprise inspection of Panchkula Police Lines on Friday. He reviewed the premises, mess, relevant records, barracks, transport branch, cleanliness of toilets and water facilities, issuing necessary instructions for making improvements to officials concerned.
Arya also closely examined the weapons at the Police Lines ground.
Police officials said the Police Commissioner collected information regarding weapon handling and their features, adding "He emphasised on regular cleaning of weapons and took note of essential safety equipment required to handle any emergency situation."
The Police Commissioner said the purpose of sudden inspection was to ensure readiness and discipline of the police force.
