Run for Unity would be organised tomorrow on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The ‘Run for Unity’ would be organised at Tau Devi Lal Sports Stadium. Residents would be administered the oath of national unity by Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Kartikeya Sharma before flagging off the run.

Panchkula Deputy Commissioner Dr Yash Garg said more than 2,000 students and employees of various departments would participate in the ‘Run for Unity’.

The Deputy Commissioner said residents would take this oath keeping in view the spirit of unity of their country, which was made possible by the vision and work of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Every resident would also sincerely pledge to contribute to ensure the internal security of their country, the Deputy Commissioner added.
