A session held at the university’s Senate Hall witnessed participation from the Department of Accounts and Finance, underscoring Panjab University’s dedication to this noble cause.
The session was led by Prof Vipin Koushal, Medical Superintendent, PGIMER & Nodal Officer, ROTTO PGIMER, along with CA Vikram Nayyar, Finance & Development Officer, Panjab University, who played a key role in organising the event. Nayyar pledged his organs inspiring others to joining the cause. “Organ donation is a gift of life. Having witnessed the impact of organ donation firsthand, I believe awareness is the first crucial step.
By educating our employees today, we aim to instill the values of this life-saving initiative in every family represented here,” he added.
“Pledging my organs is a small step toward making a big difference, and I hope it encourages others to participate in this vital initiative,” Dr Nayyar stated.
Prof Koushal emphasised the social significance of organ donation, stating, “Organ donation is not just a medical act; it is a social responsibility. The active participation of institutions like Panjab University is crucial in spreading awareness throughout society.“
Commending the university for its steadfast commitment, Prof Koushal said, “Panjab University exemplifies the leadership necessary to advance this mission. Today’s session marks another milestone in our collaboration.”
