Strict action had been taken against private hospitals that were overcharging Covid patients. He said the state government was also taking the help of NGOs, volunteers and private organisations to strengthen the fight against Covid.

Talking to the Punjab Chief Minister on the occasion, Nirbhajot Kaur, a student of Government College, Phase 6, said she was a member of the NCC. She was working with other students to motivate people to undergo Covid testing and vaccination through various means. She would continue this work till the target of 100 per cent vaccination was achieved under Mission Fateh-2.0. — TNS
