A programme was held today on the ninth National Ayurveda Day at the Primary Training Centre of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) in Bhanu. The centre is also observing the Vigilance Awareness Week

The first programme was presided over by Anandpal Singh Nimbadia, Inspector General, Primary Training Centre, Bhanu. During the programme, chief guest Acharya Ved Vrit gave important information about Ayurveda to participants. He apprised trainees about health and benefits of ayurveda in detail. On the occasion, 15 children encouraged Himveers and Himveeranganas to do yoga by performing yoga asanas.

Besides the programme, Vigilance Awareness Week is also being observed at the training centre. Today, a walkathon and half marathon race was organised for students of Kendriya Vidyalaya on the occasion during which they were explained about eradication of corruption from society.
