INLD candidate promises new capital, Rs 7,500 old-age pension, separate HC

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) candidate Dr Kshitij Chaudhary, during his poll campaigning on Thursday, said they would provide senior citizens a pension of

Rs 7,500 if an INLD-BSP government was formed in the state. He went door-to-door in Sector 20 and 21 among other places and appealed to residents to vote for him.

He was accompanied by INLD Panchkula (Urban) district president Manoj Agarwal, former Director General of Haryana Health Department Dr Satvir Chaudhary and others.

Chaudhary and Agarwal also held a meeting with members of the District Bar Association. Later, they visited Khatola, Moginand, Rattewali, Rihod and Bataur villages during campaigning.

Rs 7,500 old-age-pension if their government was formed in the state. He assured free electricity, water, education and medical treatment for people. He said, “The online portals launched by the government will be shut and facilities will be provided only on the basis of ration card.”

Chaudhary said they would abolish contractual jobs in government departments. He said instead they would focus on providing permanent employment to youth by filling vacant posts in government departments.

He also promised to regularise jobs of Asha, Anganwadi and sanitation workers, to provide free gas cylinders and Rs 110 as kitchen expenses. Chaudhary also announced an unemployment allowance of Rs 21,000 for unemployed youth. “One eligible youth from every household will be given a government job. Old-age-pension scheme will be implemented for employees. People belonging to Scheduled Caste community will be provided houses on 100-yard plots under the Tau Devi Lal housing scheme,” he said. Chaudhary also promised to build a new capital and a separate high court (HC) for the state.
