I am a sevadaar of Mohali residents, not leader: Balbir

Congress candidate from Mohali Balbir Singh Sidhu held a massive roadshow on the last day of campaigning today. All-India Congress Committee state in-charge Harish Chaudhary accompanied Sidhu.

The roadshow, which started from Phase 11, culminated at Phase 6 after passing through Phase 10, 9, 8, 7, 3B2, 5 and 1. The roadshow got a huge response from the public as people were seen standing alongside roads, at their balconies and rooftop waiving Congress flags and raising slogans in favour of the party.

Addressing the gathering, Sidhu said “I am not a leader of the Mohali people. I am their sevadaar to whom serving his people gives immense joy and happiness. For the past many years, including my three terms as MLA, I have been doing this and will keep on serving people.”

“Going by the sentiments and feelings of residents of Mohali towards the Congress this time, I am sure they will set a new record of my victory margin.”
