Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, New Chandigarh, announced that it had empanelled with the Himachal Pradesh Government, under the Mukhya Mantri Himachal Health Care Scheme (HIMCARE). The partnership aims to provide cashless treatment to the residents of Himachal Pradesh.

HIMCARE, a health insurance initiative under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Himachal Pradesh, offers financial coverage of up to Rs 5 lakh per family per year for cashless treatment. Hospital Director Dr Ashish Gulia said, “The hospital is now empanelled under the HIMCARE scheme. This partnership will allow patients from Himachal to avail cashless treatment at our hospital.”
