Chandigarh boxing team won three medals – two silver and one bronze – in the Elite Men’s National Boxing Championships.

Competing in the 46-48kg category at the Inspire Institute of Sports in Bellary, Karnataka, Kuldeep Kumar, a student of GGDSD College, Sector 32, finished with a silver medal after failed to cross the final hurdle.

Sagar, also from GGDSD College, won a silver medal in the super heavy weight category (+92kg). Harpreet, meanwhile, bagged a bronze medal in the light heavy weight (75-80kg) category. — TNS
