On bed occupancy in the wake of rising number of cases, the Deputy Commissioner said there was a lot pressure on the health infrastructure in the district and as of now, about 80 per cent of the available beds were occupied, but constant vigil was being maintained so that critical patients faced no hassle.

Reiterating the need for vigorous testing and vaccination, Deputy Commissioner said anybody with symptoms must instantaneously undertake the Covid test.
