Haryana Colts log 7-wicket victory over Baroda Assn
Haryana Cricket Association Colts beat Baroda Cricket Association by seven wickets at the 29th All India JP Atray Memorial Cricket Tournament.
Batting first, the Baroda association scored 142 runs before getting all out in 44 overs. Shlok Desai (38), Pratush Kumar (25) and P Kohli (18) were the main scorers. Kanishk Chauhan claimed three wickets, while Lakshay Sangwan and Ishant Bhardwaj bagged two each. Aditya Choudhary also picked one for the side. In reply, the Haryana team scored 143 with Yashwardhan Dalal scoring the maximum 51 runs. Manan Solanki picked two wickets for the bowling side.
In another match, Chandigarh Cricket Association beat Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh by 3 wickets. The visitors scored 212 in 49.3 overs. Rahul Pardhan scored 90 off 108 balls. Nishunk Birla claimed four wickets for the bowling side, while Vishu Kashyap, Jagjit Sandhu and Rajangad Bawa took a wicket each.
In reply, the local team posted 213 as Gaurav Puri (64), Jagjit Sandhu (38), Manan Vohra (30), Arslan Khan (21), Arjit Singh (19) and Bawa (14) scored for the side. Dev Aditya Singh claimed three wickets, Sumit Agarwal two and Darvansh Singh and Man Raj Singh one each.
