Gursimran Singh played a brilliant 92-run innings to help St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, register a 23-run win over GNPS Cricket Academy in the 10th Shaheed Major Sandeep Memorial Boys U-12 Cricket Tournament.

Batting first, the Sector 44 team scored 188/6 in allotted 30 overs. Gursimran (92 off 69 balls, with 17 boundaries and one six) and Gurinder (32 off 43 balls) were the two main scorers for their side. Mohit Narayan claimed two wickets for the bowling side. Adhiraj claimed three wickets for the bowling side.

In the second match, Satguru Cricket Academy defeated Chandigarh Cricket Academy by 117 runs. The Satguru Academy lads posted 204 runs with the help of Bhavin (90 off 60 balls, with 21 boundaries) and Ritesh Kumar (36 off 44 balls). Mohit Narayan remained the pick of the bowlers as he claimed 2/39.

In reply, Chandigarh Cricket Academy bundled out for 90 runs. Trijal Goyal (26) were the main contributor in the total. Agamveer Singh claimed four wickets for the bowling side.
