Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said the feedback from the parents taken during the Mega PTM (Parent-Teacher Meet) had played a vital role in improving Punjab’s government schools.

While participating in a PTM at School of Eminence, Nangal, the Cabinet Minister said the government had prioritised health and education as key focus areas.

He said several educators shared their experiences during the PTM.

Mahinder Chaudhary, Headmaster of Government High School, Ghaggar, in Muktsar district, reported significant increase in the parent participation, leading to improvement in students’ academic performance and personality development.

Ishwar Sharma, Social Studies teacher at Government Middle School, Lohgarh, in Ferozepur, highlighted the parents’ enthusiasm, mentioning they arrived at 8:30 am, well before the scheduled time of the event.
