Mohali: The eSanjeevani, a national tele-consultation service developed by C-DAC here and funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has won Digital India Award – 2020 in the category of “Innovation in Pandemic”. The eSanjeevani OPD was developed during the lockdown period and rapidly scaled up. Dr PK Khosla, Executive Director, said the service had been rolled out in 28 states of India, training nearly 30,000 doctors and paramedics. Nearly 1.2 million consultations have been carried out using eSanjeevani. Dr Hemant Darbari, Director-General, C-CDAC, said they had scaled up the facility to conduct more than 15,000 consultations per day.TNS

Panchkula: Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Handa on Wednesday issued a set of guidelines with regard to holding events on New Year’s Eve at pubs, bars, hotels, restaurants in view of Covid-19.
