Chandigarh sees 70 new cases, 1 death

Chandigarh: The city on Saturday reported 70 fresh Covid cases, taking the tally to 18,572, while one more death pushed the toll to 300. A total of 92 patients recovered from the infection, taking the number of cured persons to 17,457. TNS

Two fatalities, 52 fresh cases in Mohali

Mohali: Two persons succumbed to coronavirus in the district during the past 24 hours, taking the toll to 307. The district also saw fresh 52 cases till Saturday evening. All cases were from Mohali (urban). As many as 127 persons were cured. So far, the district has reported 16,864 cases. There are 2,235 active cases. TNS

36 more infected in Panchkula

Panchkula: The district on Saturday reported 36 new Covid cases, taking the tally to 9,416. With no fresh death, the toll stands at 135. Among the fresh cases, eight were from Sector 15 and three each from Amravati Enclave and Chandimandir. While 8,837 patients have defeated the virus so far, 444 cases are still active. The district’s recovery rate stands at 93.85 per cent. TNS
