Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda was given a warm welcome by BJP’s Chandigarh president Jatinder Pal Malhotra on his arrival in Panchkula. On this occasion, a special discussion was held on the improvement and upgrading of the health sector in the city.

Malhotra, while discussing with the Union Minister, said there was a need to upgrade the health infrastructure of Chandigarh, so that the quality and availability of health services can be improved. He said it was very important to equip the health sector in Chandigarh with modern facilities and new technologies so that the residents could get high-quality health services. This will have a direct impact on the working and efficiency of the health system here, which will benefit every section. He urged the Union Minister to take necessary steps in this direction so that Chandigarh could be made one of the leading health centres of the country.
