The meeting, aimed at resolving the delay in paddy procurement, has turned into a virtual gherao, with leaders like Balbir Singh Rajewal insisting on a solution today.

Sources say Channi, unavailable for comment, is under pressure to address the issue, which is part of a statewide problem. Administration officials claim that all stakeholders are working towards a resolution. Meanwhile, Kharar mandi remains shut, with farmers and millers observing a shutdown.
