CGC, Mohali

The boys’ kabaddi team of the institution bagged a gold medal at the IKGPTU Kabaddi Tournament held at ACPTE, Mastuana Sahib. Competing against 11 colleges, CGC logged a win over CBSA, Landran, followed by triumphs against BBSB and ACPTE, Mastuana Sahib. In the final, they defeated DAVIET, Jalandhar.

The college inaugurated its moot court society. The ceremony was attended by Professor Shipra Gupta, Department of Law, Panjab University and Associate Professor Ivneet Walia, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. Dr Shipra said moot courts had been an integral part of the legal curriculum in Indian universities since 1985. Dr Walia said the purpose of a moot court was to provide a realistic environment to students.
