Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, celebrated the 555th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev by hosting an interfaith harmony symposium.

Principal Gulshan Kaur warmly welcomed esteemed guests and highlighted the importance of interfaith dialogue in fostering mutual respect. Coordinated by retired Col Daljeet Singh Cheema, the event commenced with multi-faith prayer songs, symbolising harmony and love.

The symposium featured insightful panel discussions, covering themes such as “The Dichotomies of Our Times and the Need for Interfaith Dialogue,” “Guru Nanak’s Philosophy of Peace, Harmony, and the Pursuit of Joy,” “All Faiths as Paths of Love and Compassion,” and “Interfaith Harmony in the Armed Forces.”

Colonel Cheema’s book, ‘101 Divine Thoughts of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’, was launched, enriching the occasion with Guru Nanak’s profound teachings. It was released by several eminent dignitaries like Justice Kamaljit Singh Garewal (Retd), Justice Shabihul Hasnain (Retd), Balram Gupta, AS Rai, Ashok Kumar, Lt Gen (Dr) KJ Singh (Retd) PVSM, AVSM & Bar, AN Mathur, IAS (Retd) Captain Narinder Singh.
