Anshul Punia defeated Deepak Singh to claim the 47-50 kg gold medal, while Sujal and Sandeep Kumar claimed the joint bronze medal, on the concluding day of the 47th Senior Men Chandigarh State Boxing Championship played at the Sector 42 sports complex.

In the 50-55 kg category, Ajay and Sushant Kapoor claimed the top two positions, respectively, while Ankit and Jatinder bagged the joint second position. Akshay claimed the 55-60kg final match by defeating Aditya Panwar.

Bharat Kumar and Rohit Chamoli bagged the joint third position. In the 60-65 kg final, Himanshu Sangwan defeated Achalveer Karwasra and Tushar won the bronze medal. Rohit Kumar won the 65-70kg gold by defeating Parshant. Rohan and Taranjeet Singh claimed the joint third spot.

In the 70-75 kg final, Akshay defeated Saksham Negi and Ankit Kumar and Shahrukh claimed third position. Aman won the 75-80 kg final by defeating Sachin. Sarvesh and Nitish Kumar bagged a bronze medal each. In the 80-85 kg final, Vivek Dahiya defeated Younam Kamboj, while Rahul and Sunil Kumar bagged third position. In the 85-90 kg final, Swan Gill overpowered Nitish Kumar and Angad Chauhan and Ayush Kalyan won third position.

In the 90+kg final, Ankush defeated Rohit Bawa and Himanshu Chawla and Ansh Tomar bagged third position.

The team of Sector 42 Coaching Centre bagged the overall position with 28 points, and Sector 56 Coaching Centre finished second with 15 points. Akshay was adjudged the best boxer and Sushant Kapoor the promising boxer of the event.
