MLA Kulwant Singh on Thursday handed over appointment letters of beldars to the five wards of deceased farmers, who lost their lives during the protest against three farm bills. A total of 660 dependents of deceased farmers have been accommodated in government jobs on compassionate grounds. Of these, 453 have been given jobs in the Punjab’s Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department.
