2 suspects in Chandigarh bar blasts injured in police encounter in Haryana’s Hisar

Two gangsters were injured in an encounter with the Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana and Chandigarh Police in Hisar on Friday evening.

The suspects, identified as Vinay of Deva village and Ajit of Kharar village in Hisar district, are currently admitted to the Civil Hospital in Hisar.

According to police sources, Vinay and Ajit were involved in the recent bomb blasts outside two clubs in Sector 26, Chandigarh, which occurred last Tuesday. When the police attempted to apprehend them, the suspects allegedly tried to resist, leading to an exchange of fire, the sources said.

During the encounter, both Vinay and Ajit suffered bullet injuries in the leg. The police sources confirmed that the suspects are receiving medical treatment at the civil hospital.

Two low-intensity crude bomb blasts were carried out outside the two clubs, Seville Bar and Lounge, owned by rapper Badshah, and De’Orra, in the wee hours of Tuesday by two suspects, who arrived there on a motorcycle around 3.15 am.
