Earlier, resuming from their overnight total of 135/7, the visitors bundled out at 150. Harshit cut short Kerala innings by claiming all three wickets. He trapped Kiran Sagar (8) in front of the wickets, bowled JS Anuraj (1) and accounted Akhin (0) to end the visitors’ second innings at 150.

Ivraj Ranauta (3/54) was the other main wicket taker for the hosts, while Anmol Sharma and Armaan Jakhar claimed one wicket each.

Chandigarh chased the modest total in 23 overs. Openers Devang Kaushik and Arnav Bansal tried to keep a good start to the side. However, Bansal (8) was trapped by Shoun Roger at the team’s total of 32. Next-in Dushyant (0) faced five balls before losing his wicket to Sagar. Down to 33/2, the side got another blow as Kaushik (33 off 18 balls, with one boundary and four sixes) was caught by Akash off Roger. Thereafter, rising from 41/3, the pair of skipper Paras and Nikhil helped Chandigarh to recover from early damages and post 127/3.
