The city has a potential to be a role model among the Union Territories (UTs) by achieving sustainable development goals, said Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan during a meeting with UT Adviser Rajeev Verma and other senior officers of the administration today.
The meeting was convened to review the progress made under various Centre-sponsored schemes and other flagship programmes under implementation here. The Government of India has launched specific programmes to provide education, healthcare, nutrition, sanitation and social security with the objective of achieviing broad-based improvement in the living standards of people.
