Trading community of Chandigarh, under the aegis of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal (CBM), mourned the demise of visionary industrialist Ratan Naval Tata.

Beopar Mandal chairman Satpal Gupta and president Charanjiv Singh joined senior functionaries and members of the CBM in expressing their heartfelt condolences to the Tata family and the entire nation.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of this visionary leader,” said Gupta.

“His contribution to India’s growth and development will never be forgotten,” the Beopar Mandal chairman added.

As a shining star in the commerce world of India and the entire world, Tata’s passing away was a tremendous loss to the nation, Singh said.

“As a most noble and inspiring personality, Tata brought laurels to our country through his tireless efforts in industrialisation and philanthropy. His leadership and legacy will continue to inspire generations to come,” he added.

Meanwhile, Diwakar Sahoonja, innovator and Limca Book of Records holder, and spokesperson of CBM, also paid heartfelt tribute to Ratan Tata.
