Chamba ADM for timely completion of projects

Chamba’s Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Amit Mehra emphasised the need for quality and timely completion of several key projects during the weekly departmental review meeting. The projects reviewed included the construction of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital at Sarol, indoor sports stadium in Chamba, cow shelter at Manjheer and the installation of signboards at Jot and Naini Khad by the tourism department.

Mehra directed the Forest Department to prioritise the solid waste management plant at Kuran and submit a progress report next week. The District Sports Officer was instructed to provide updated designs and a tree-cutting progress report for the indoor stadium within a week. Regarding the cow shelter in Manjheer, Mehra asked the Animal Husbandry Department to coordinate with the electricity board and complete the remaining work within two weeks. He also called for possession of the shelter to be taken promptly.
