Chabbewal MLA inaugurates sewage pipeline at Jaitpur

For the development of Jaitpur village, newly elected Chabbewal MLA Ishank Kumar inaugurated a sewage pipeline project on Tuesday. The project, to be completed at a cost of around Rs 25 lakh, is important from the villagers’ health point of view and environmental concerns, besides better sewage management.

The MLA also approved many other development projects for Jaitpur village. He issued grants of Rs 10 lakh for the construction of a crematorium and Rs 2 lakh for the repair of the existing crematorium, Rs 5 lakh for the gym, Rs 3 lakh for the dispensary and Rs 2 lakh for a football club.

Ishank said that he was working to ensure equal progress in every village of the constituency. He said, “It is my responsibility to take care of every village in the constituency. I am working relentlessly to fulfil the responsibility given to me by the villagers. All-round development of the constituency is my priority.”

Sarpanch Baljit Kaur, Sarabjit Singh Bhola, Jitinder Singh Raju, Joginder Pal, Harpal Singh, Kashmir Kaur, Paramjit Kaur and Pavitar Kaur were among those present on the occasion.
