New Delhi, September 1

The Centre on Sunday constituted an inter-ministerial central team (IMCT) to be led by the executive director of the National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) to assess the damage caused by rain and floods in Gujarat. A similar IMCT has also been formed for Nagaland.

The teams will soon visit the flood-affected areas in both states, official sources said.
