Central bank makes entrepreneurs aware of facilities, addresses queries
Officials of the regional office of Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI’s) Baddi branch today spread awareness on banking facilities amongst entrepreneurs, linking unbanked entrepreneurs to the formal banking system.
Aatish Anant, Deputy General Manager, RBI, underscored the importance of the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector in propelling the nation forward.
He emphasised the challenges faced by the MSME sector and the support provided through the initiatives of the government and the RBI.
He urged the stakeholders for continuing the efforts to unlock the full potential of MSMEs.
During the meeting, officials from RBI and other stakeholder organisations — Department of Industries, MSME-Development and Facilitation Office (DFO), SIDBI, senior bank officials, CIBIL, M1xchange — made the participating entrepreneurs aware of various facilities available to them and addressed their queries.
