The police have registered a case against a man, Gulab Singh of Yamunanagar, for allegedly propounding forged and fabricated ‘will’ of a dead person, KL Sehgal.

In her complaint, the complainant, Promila Sehgal, told the police that the civil suit titled, ‘Gulab Singh v/s Promila’ was decided against Gulab Singh by Civil Judge (Junior Division), Jagadhri (Yamunanagar) Bharat Bhushan Kaushik on April 25, 2016.

She told the police that the will of late KL Sehgal propounded by Gulab Singh was found to be suspicious in nature and was not accepted as the last and valid ‘will’ of KL Sehgal by the court.

She said later on Gulab Singh filed an appeal against the said judgment and the appeal was dismissed by the court of Additional Sessions Judge, Jagadhri, Nidhi Bansal on February 28, 2023.

An FIR was registered against Gulab Singh at City police station, Yamunanagar on October 15.
