Campus notes: Workshop on animal welfare
Amritsar: A workshop on animal welfare was conducted at the Indian Public School, Airport Road, by animal activist Shalini from People for Animals. The workshop was held under the supervision of Principal Deepika Kapoor. During the session, students were sensitised about the importance of animal welfare and encouraged to show empathy and kindness towards animals. The event was aimed at raising awareness among the students about the ethical treatment of animals and the need for their protection.
Students recite Gurbani shabads
Amritsar: Students and teachers of Revel Dale Public School paid obeisance to Guru Granth Sahib during the special assembly conducted at the school to commemorate Prakash Purb of Guru Granth Sahib. Students recited sacred lines enshrined in Guru Granth Sahib and explained the same in simple Punjabi to educate all students of the school and thus the message of equality, brotherhood, respect for woman, humility, education , bravery and hard work was shared with all the students. Shabad singing done by the students of the school enthralled everyone. The teachers and the principal of the school urged all the children to remain steadfast on the teachings and life lessons of Guru Granth Sahib.
