Yamunanagar: The computer engineering department of Seth Jai Parkash Polytechnic, Damla, organised a training programme on "Emerging technologies" by Gurjeet, director, Himmel Infotel Pvt Ltd, Mohali. The session was arranged by Rohit Mandhar, lecturer, computer engineering. Amandeep Singh, training & placement officer, said the training was aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the field of computer engineering. In recognition of their hard work and commitment, certificates were distributed to over 50 students who successfully completed their training. Anil Kumar, Principal congratulated the students on the completion of their training and said the college was dedicated towards providing learning opportunities and fostering strong connections between students and industry leaders.

Fest at Central varsity of Haryana

Mahendergarh: The department of law, Central University of Haryana (CUH), organised its 'Law Fest 2024'. At the event, students took part in cultural and literary competitions under the leadership of Prof Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of the university. The festivities included declamation, blog writing, legal crossword, poster making, dance and singing, drawing participation from a large number of students. Faculty members, including Dr Reema Gill, D. Sunil, and Dr Neeraj Karan Singh, adjudged the competitions. The department of law faculty praised the students' organisational efforts. Event coordinator Dr Samiksha Godhara announced the winners, who received prizes and certificates. Dr Pradeep Singh, head and dean of the department of law, inaugurated the fest along with the faculty members, beginning with the traditional lamp lighting, 'Saraswati Vandana' and 'kulgeet'. Singh emphasised the importance of student participation. He encouraged teamwork and cooperation.
