Gurnoor Kaur Chinna, a talented student of Shri Ram Ashram Public School, The Mall, Amritsar has made the school and district proud by securing a bronze medal and also a cash prize of Rs 7,000 in the Under-14 girls 55 plus weight category at the Khedan Watan Punjab Dian-2024 Judo State Level Championship held in Mansa, Punjab, from November 14 to 18. Organised by the Mansa district administration, the championship witnessed participation of top judokas from across Punjab. Gurnoor’s impressive performance was commendable. School president Balbir Bajaj congratulated the winner on her remarkable achievement and wished her success in future endeavours. Principal Dr Vinodita Sankhyan praised the students, saying, “We are proud of our young achiever. Our school strives to nurture students not only academically but also in sports and games, fostering overall development.”
