At Spring Dale Public School, the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev was celebrated with reverence. During this event, Springdalians participated in a procession starting from Gurdwara Kalghidhar Sahib, paying homage to the first Guru of the Sikhs by singing his divine hymns. Tractor trollies beautifully adorned with flowers, carried the students who engaged the pedestrians with soulful kirtan.

BCM School

BCM School, Basant City, celebrated Children’s Day with enthusiasm and vibrant activities across its kindergarten, primary, middle and senior wings. The day began with a warm welcome for students, featuring a melodious welcome song by the school choir and a traditional tilak ceremony, creating a festive atmosphere. The celebrations were inaugurated with a lamp-lighting ceremony, shloka recitations and heartfelt prayers. Teachers added to the joy with engaging performances, including poetry, songs, a captivating drama inspired by Malgudi Days and an energetic dance performance.

The Department of Punjabi of Arya College Girls Section organised Parkash Purb celebrations. On the occasion, students dwelled on the teachings of Baba Nanak through speeches and also recited shabads. The celebration ended with ardas and kadha parsad was distributed.
