Amritsar: Students of Cedar Spring High school enjoyed a memorable outing at Zoreko, Amritsar. The activity was organised with the aim to promote students’ mental health, allowing them to step away from the stress of studies and participate in fun games. Students indulged in arcade games, virtual reality experiences and various exciting activities at Zoreko. These games not only entertained the students but also enhanced their teamwork, quick decision-making and problem-solving skills. The students competed in various games and overcame challenges through mutual cooperation. Principal of Cedar Spring High School, Nitin Verma, said: “Such outings contribute to students’ mental growth. Education should not be limited to books alone.”

Spring Dale team overall champs

Amritsar: Spring Dale team emerged overall champions in the business conclave titled “Business Tycoons” for its entrepreneur skills. Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, chairman of Spring Dale Educational Society, said during the competition, organised by Learning Path School, Mohali, teams had to present their business skills and innovative ideas to start and run a business venture. The school team competing with 14 top-level schools of the region and was adjudged to the overall champions,” said Sandhu. School Principal Rajiv Kumar Sharma congratulated the winning team for this outstanding performance.

Tagline competition

Amritsar: Students of Yuva Tourism Society, Department of Travel and Tourism, DAV College, Amritsar, organised a tagline competition. As many as 60 students took part in the competition. They expressed their creativity in the form of slogans and taglines related to travel industry. Principal Dr Amardeep Gupta appreciated the efforts of students and congratulated HoD Prof Shilpi Seth for encouraging the students to learn about slogans on the tourism industry. Students were also given certificates and prizes. Harsimran Kaur stood first, Pragati second and Prince third in this competition.
