In collaboration with “Five Rivers Heart Association” of Dr Swaiman Singh, a health awareness camp was organised at School of Eminence for Girls, Mall Road. A team of doctors in their address to nearly 2,000 students and school faculty shared vital information regarding mental health, impact of social media, menstrual hygiene and other health-related issues with the audience. First-aid and CPR training was also given during the camp. The team of expert doctors present in the camp included Dr Amolpreet Kaur (camp organiser), Dr Manpal Kaur Sandhu, Dr Harmehar Kaur Sandhu, Dr Harrehmat Kaur Sandhu, Dr Dhanraj Singh, Dr Cyrus, Dr Japneet Kaur, Dr Shubham Mittal, Dr Tejinder Singh, Dr Arushi, Dr Jaskaranjot Kaur, Dr Supreet Kaur, Dr Navdeep Singh and Dr Kiratjyot Singh Randhawa. School Principal Mandeep Kaur informed that health check-up for 400 students and 100 teachers was conducted during the camp.

Annual Function held

Students of classes II and III of DAV Public School presented their annual function “Embracing Rhythmic Diversity”. Theme of the function took the audience on a mesmerising journey across the country's diverse dance forms promoting unity and cultural awareness among students. Traditional dances from different states including Bhangra (Punjab), Garba (Gujarat), Bihu (Assam) and many more showcased India's unity amidst myriad of differences.

Career fair organised

Spring Dale Senior School organised "The Scholars and Seekers Career Fair-2024" in association with the Overseas Admission Cell of Spring Dale Senior School. While disseminating information, Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Chairman of Spring Dale Educational Society, said the delegates from around 20 renowned international and national universities catered to the queries related to admissions into the leading foreign and Indian universities. The interested students of classes IX to XII and their parents were able to get the productive insights from exclusive desks set up by the institutions like University of Alberta, University of Arizona, University of Cincinnati, UPES of Dehradun, Atlas Skiltech University, Plaksha University and more.
